Porch & Parlor was born from a love of beautiful, collected spaces that feel personal, welcoming, and lived in. We believe the best homes aren’t perfectly matched or overly designed. They tell a story through the things you love, the places you’ve been, and the pieces you’ve collected along the way.
Porch & Parlor offers services in Central Virginia and the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We look forward to working with you!

Welcome to Porch & Parlor Design
My name is Tammy Severt, and I am excited to share Porch & Parlor with you!
Porch & Parlor was born from my love of beautiful, collected spaces that feel personal, welcoming, and lived in. I believe the best homes aren’t perfectly matched or overly designed. They tell a story through the things you love, the places you’ve been, and the pieces you’ve collected along the way.
My design style leans toward maximalism, grandmillennial charm, pattern, color, and a healthy dose of personality.
But Porch & Parlor is about so much more than decorating. I love the entire process of bringing a home to life—from renovations and new construction to selecting fixtures, flooring, finishes, furnishings, textiles, and all those little details that make a house feel like home.
And yes… there will be holiday magic, fabulous porches, beautiful tablescapes, and plenty of pretty things along the way.
I’m so excited to share this journey, my projects, my finds, and my love of design with you.
Welcome to Porch & Parlor.
